Our Miniature Dachshunds are from a long line of champions, we have outstanding blood lines. But the most important consideration in our view is temperament, we breed our dogs for companionship and disposition.
        We at Elkhorn Kennels concentrate on raising "companion dogs" who are friendly, gentle and loyal, with even temperament, (not excitable barkers). Our dogs are given the maximum amount of time and commitment, in a home setting, treated as one of the family. They are well started as companions, and ready to be yours.
